Middle and High School Science and Environmental Engineering

I have taught in a wide variety of academic and cultural environments, from the New York City Public School System to the Colegio Internacional de San Salvador in El Salvador. Currently, I am teaching Environmental Engineering at Dehesa Charter School in Carlsbad, CA. As a father of three young children I am very concerned about the environmental state of the planet my children will inherit. It is my passion in life to help my students address and solve real world environmental issues. I want to make our school a zero landfill entity. I want to grow, using aquaponic techniques, enough organic , healthy, ultra-local food to feed our students. I want to give my students the scientific background, the engineering tools, and the confidence to become mindful stewards of our planet. We have a lot of work to do!
