So yeah, I just completed my residency year with Kansas City Teacher Residency and will be leading my very own classroom in the fall. That's crazy, eh? Just 49 years young, and I decide to become a teacher to middle school students...and someone let me! I'm not sure who is the crazier ones, but regardless, I can't wait to get started. Designing a learning environment where 6th-grade students can get excited about writing may be the biggest challenge of my life.
