About

KIPP Generations Collegiate (KGC) opened its doors the fall of 2011 and serves college-bound 9th - 11th-grade students from Houston’s North and East communities. The academic and co-curricular programs at KGC provide a college-preparatory experience that empowers students with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to go to and through college.

At KIPP Generations Collegiate we believe that education provides choice for a future. We envision a generation of college ready critical thinkers who take responsibility for their learning and who contribute actively by giving back and paying forward. Our scholars will enter a college or university setting with an understanding that where they are from is very much a part of who they were meant to become, and the realization of their educational ambitions can change the trajectory of their futures, their family’s future, and the community from which they belong. We will generate graduates who will “be the change [we] wish to see in the world”.

Hello my name is Lisbeth Trejo and I am 16 years old. I am a sophomore at Kipp Generatioms Collegiate. I am also a member of a club called Mu Alpha Theta. This year were going to compete at Utah. I need to fundraise to be able to go to this trip and I would accept anything. Thanks for taking time out of your day and reading about me. I hope you have a great day.
