K-5 Science Specialist

Hello, my name is Sandra, and I am a passionate K–5 science teacher in Minneapolis. Every day, I have the privilege of working with young learners who are curious, creative, and excited to understand the world around them. My classroom is filled with questions, wonder, and a genuine love for learning. I teach students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom face challenges that extend beyond the classroom. While my students are eager to learn, not all of them have access to the resources and technology needed to fully participate in today’s learning environment. At times, our school shifts to online or hybrid learning, making reliable technology essential for student success. As a teacher, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive classroom where every child feels valued and capable. I work hard to make science engaging, hands-on, and meaningful, even when resources are limited. I believe that every student deserves equal access to learning tools that help them grow in confidence and curiosity. Through this fundraising effort, I hope to provide my students with the technology and supplies they need to stay connected, engaged, and inspired.
