Principal's Message: "The Greene Middle School faculty and staff are committed to providing all students with a challenging and effective learning environment where we actively demonstrate pride, make responsible decisions, show respect and live cooperatively in a diverse world.
Nathanael Greene is a grade six through eight school located in the city of Providence, Rhode Island. One thousand students participate in a rigorous academic program and a variety of extra-curricular activities. This is my 8th year as an administrator at Nathanael Greene, and my 16th working in the Providence School Department. I am so proud that our school keeps getting better and better. Our hard-working team of teachers is fully committed to working with our PTO and parents to make middle school a delightful time for your children. In addition, my administrative and guidance teams are available to you at any time to discuss ways for us to support your children through these formative school years. Music Teacher
I am an inner city music teacher working with students in grades 6-8. I've spent a lot of time over the past two years building interest in a school band program. Now, I'm investing in other music mediums for students whom don't have an interest in a performing ensemble, but enjoy creating music. My school received some new laptops, however they do not have any music software on them. I'm looking to raise some funds to allow my students the opportunity to create music using technology.
