With these funds I will continue to pique my students' interest in reading. We are studying varying aspects of literature and while doing so, the children are finding that they do enjoy reading a great deal and are becoming genre specific. I don't have all the genres that they prefer and there are so many new books currently available that I want them to have access to. This cause will help me to provide some graphic novels for my students, some higher level picture books, and some new material that I simply don't have access to just yet.
