Jen Manness

School Counselor

I have been a counselor in Philadelphia for 7 years, and I absolutely love my job! I am split between two K-8 schools. Between the two schools I have about 800 babies. Being split is a challenge, but I go to work every day energized and inspired by my kids. After school, I coach a running team. We will be running a half marathon together soon. I love seeing the looks on the kids' faces when they accomplish something they never thought they could.

My goal is to encourage, empower and train our youth on the importance of giving back to their familes and communities. Additionally, my hope is to establish as many extracurricular activities at the school so the studens can have a safe haven and another outlet.
