Help Whitmore Lake Robotics Compete on the World Stage! 

We’re reaching out because Whitmore Lake Robotics is at an exciting crossroads. Our Middle School “Titanium Trojans” team has already earned a coveted invitation to the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas after an exceptional season and official invitation this December.  The is the first time the WL Middle School Robotics Team has achieved this. At the same time, our High School “TroBots” team is deep into competition season, striving to qualify for “Worlds” once again this spring—as they have in prior years. 

This dream is within reach for 2 teams of students in grades 6–12, who’ve invested thousands of hours designing, building, and programming their robots. Representing Whitmore Lake Public Schools, LCA, and other partner schools, our teams have achieved impressive rankings—currently 5th in Michigan and among the top 60 teams worldwide! 

The World Championship is more than a competition; it’s an opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and collaborate with peers from across the globe. To make this possible, we need to raise $60,000 before April to cover entry fees, travel, food, and lodging for both teams. 

Your support opens doors to hands-on STEM experiences that go far beyond the classroom, empowering every student to build skills for their future. Every dollar brings us closer to Houston—and closer to inspiring tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.
