The Spark Lab is a STEAM program offered at Central Park Elementary School. All of our 450+ students in grades K-6 come to the Spark Lab at least once a week for hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. While students are completing engineering challenges and using robotics equipment and 3D printers in the Spark Lab, classroom teachers are incorporating STEAM concepts into students' daily instruction. To find out more visit Facebook.com/CPSparkLab or follow on Twitter @CPSparkLab.

PK-5th grade Teacher-Librarian

I am blessed to be a PreK-5th grade librarian to some of the best students in Texas. Although they live in neighborhoods that are catorgerized as high poverty, they show up to school each day eager to learn and explore new concepts. Their inquisitive natures inspire me to find new and innovative ways to meet their needs, and help them strengthen their academic, leadership and problem solving skills.

I found my passion as a dual immersion teacher. This program is designed to teach students Spanish across all curriculum.
