My ultimate goal in life is to increase the quality of education with the students that I am privilege to serve daily. Currently in my 4th year as a reading teacher, I strive to teach my students how to become self learners who constantly seeking and thirsting for knowledge. Often I see great teachers whose students are only excited about their class, and that’s where it stops. But if I could teach my students how to be excited about learning no matter the subject or teacher, then their quality of life would be greatly improved.

I am a 7th grade Math teacher at KIPP 3D Academy in Houston, TX. I couldn't ask to work with more amazing kids - they are so bright and enthusiastic. However, my students are also coming in at a disadvantage. Unlike some of the other schools in the district, KIPP 3D does not have extravagant financial resources. As a teacher, I want to see these children chase their dreams and succeed. With your help, I want to provide them with the resources they need regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.

Howdy! I am a 5th Grade Reading teacher at KIPP 3D Academy in Houston, Texas. This is my fourth year at KIPP 3D and my third as the 5th Grade Reading teacher. 5th Grade Reading is an incredibly important class for our 3D tigers. It is the year they learn fundamental reading strategies that will help them throughout their lives. I am so blessed and extremely happy to be a part of their learning experience!
